HC Deb 12 June 1986 vol 99 c280W
28. Sir Richard Body

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will identify the main agricultural issues to be addressed when the United Kingdom assumes the presidency of the European Community.

Mr. Jopling

I expect the main items of Council business during our presidency to be decisions on long-term reform of the beef and veal regime, on socio-structural measures, and on the quantities of New Zealand butter to be imported under the special arrangements in 1987 and 1988.
