HC Deb 09 June 1986 vol 99 c98W
Mr. Stuart Holland

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will direct South West Thames regional health authority to stop sale proceedings in respect of the site of the South London hospital for women, pending an inquiry into the conformity of that sale with National Health Service guidelines on consideration of the development needs of other health authorities; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hayhoe

As the South West Thames regional health authority has followed the Department's guidance on the sale of surplus property, it would not be appropriate to stop sale proceedings.
