§ Mr. HayhoeI have set up a committee under the chairmanship of Professor James Moss with the following terms of reference
In the light of present knowledge from research, and experience of the use of indices of occlusion, to make recommendations by the end of the year on the development of an index of occlusion for use by the Dental Estimates Board.The Members of the committee will be:

- Professor W. C. Shaw BDS, MScD, PhD, FDS, DOrth DDO;
- H. G. Lewis Esq FDS, DOrth RCS;
- David Watson James Esq BDS, LDS;
