§ Mr. TraceyThe responsibility for providing strategic planning guidance in Greater London rests with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment. He will be seeking the advice of the London Planning Advisory Committee, the London and South East Regional Planning Conference and other bodies on the scope and content of that guidance. The advice will be framed within the context provided by the strategic guidance for London and the South East, which was issued in draft by the Secretary of State on 27 February 1986 in response to a regional statement prepared by the London and South East Regional Planning Conference.
