§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, further to his answer, Official Report, column 608, of 5 June, he will state the total public expenditure at current and real prices using 1979 as 100 for each year from 1969–70 to 1985–86; and if he will state whether the 1985–86 figure is actual or estimated.
