§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing at current and at 1986 prices the profits of (a) manufacturing and (b) the financial sector in the latest year for which figures are available and in (i) 1956, (ii) 1966 and (iii) 1976; and if he will include figures for each year since 1956 of the rate of return in each case on an historic cost basis.
