§ Mr. Aspinwallasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what further policy he has in the area of marketing of British agricultural produce following enactment of the Agricultural Marketing Act 1983.
§ Mr. GummerThe Government are providing some £14 million of pump priming funds to FFB in the five years up to 1987–88 and up to £7.5 million during the following three years if funding by the industry is satisfactory. The Council of Food From Britain will be restructured shortly and I expect one of its first priorities to be the setting of new marketing objectives and strategies.
