§ Sir Hector Monroasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to receive the report on management training for leisure and recreation in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RifkindI have now received the report on management training for leisure and recreation in Scotland, which Professor Lewis Gunn has submitted on behalf of the working party of which he has been chairman. It will be published today and I am arranging for copies to be placed in the Library of the House.
I am grateful to the working party for the effort it has put into this study. Most of its principal recommendations are directed towards organisations which provide leisure and recreation services, which I know will find them a valuable source of advice and guidance. I am arranging a wide distribution of the report and will consider carefully its proposals involving action by central Government.
