Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will list in the Official Report the number of appeals received by him in the last year under (i) section 5(6) and (ii) section 8(6) of the Education Act 1981; and whether he will provide a breakdown of the decisions made in respect of those appeals and state the number on which a decision is outstanding and the average time for a decision to be made.
