§ Mr. RifkindI have authorised the commencement of the provisions of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985 (except section 25) with effect from 1 September. My noble and learned Friend, the Lord Advocate, has made an order to bring into operation on the same day the provisions of part IV of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984, dealing with financial provision in Scotland after overseas divorce.
