§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will provide details of the provisions for employee shareholdings to be made for the chairman and senior and area management of British Gas under privatisation.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithI refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's announcement on 18 June at columns 537–39. The chairman and management of British Gas will be eligible for the Government share offers on the same basis as other staff.
