What proportion of newly retired pensioners in the latest year for which figures are available who were in receipt of an occupational pension are estimated to have received total incomes net of tax in the first year of their retirement which exceeded their total income in the final year before retirement net of tax, National Insurance contributions and contributions to an occupational pension scheme.
