§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe Rayner scrutiny recommendations concerns section 155 of the Road Traffic Act 1972 which provides for the collection of prescribed fees from drivers for emergency treatment of road accident victims. The Government intend to introduce legislation to abolish the emergency treatment fee payable to health authorities at the earliest convenient opportunity.
