§ Mr. WaldenMy right hon. Friend last met the University Grants Committee on 1 November 1984, when they discussed the committee's published advice "A Strategy for Higher Education into the 1990s". My right hon. Friend, my predecessor the Member for City of London and Westminster South and I have had several meetings with the chairman of the UGC since then.
