711WStatistics of the continental distribution of these students could only be provided at disproportionate cost, but figures for individual countries are published by the British Council in its booklet "Statistics of Overseas Students in the United Kingdom" copies of which are in the Library. Statistics for advanced and non-advanced level students from each continent in the maintained sector in England are published in my Department's annual volume "Statistics of Education Further Education" which is also in the Library.
Information on the numbers completing their course is not available.
