§ Mr. Bestasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will provide figures indicating the amount of Government grant given to agencies working to combat drug abuse for the years 1980 to 1985 inclusive.
§ Mr. WhitneyThe amounts made available to statutory and voluntary organisations by the Department specifically to provide services for drug misusers for the financial years 1980–81–1985–86 are as follows:

In addition, £628,000 was spent in 1984–85 and £1,815,000 is expected to be spent in 1985–86 on the Department's drug misuse prevention campaign.
