§ Sir George YoungIn response to a request from the Stockbridge village trust for additional public sector assistance, we have appointed the accountants, Ernst and Whinney, to undertake a financial appraisal of the trust's position and long-term prospects. We expect them to complete their work shortly and will be discussing the findings with the trust. We do not intend to publish the appraisal.
