§ The Prime MinisterIn his capacity as my personal representative for the purposes of preparing the 1986 economic summit, Sir Robert Armstrong attended a meeting of Personal Representatives held in Honolulu from Friday 31 January until Sunday 2 February. He planned to stop over in Washington for two days on his way back, but returned to this country direct in order to be available in case he was invited to appear before the Select Committee on Defence, as in the event he was.
