§ Sir Geoffrey HoweWe deplore the continuation of this tragic and wasteful conflict which is now well into its sixth year. We continue to support the United Nations Secretary-General and his special representative Mr. Olof Palme in their efforts to find a peaceful solution. We will do all we can to help bring about the earliest possible settlement.
