§ Mr. DunnUnder section 8 of the Education Act 1944, as amended by the Education Act 1981, local education authorities have a duty to secure the availability for their area of sufficient schools for all pupils, and to have regard to the need for securing that special educational provision is made for pupils who have special educational needs.
