§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, following his reply to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Maryhill, on the funding problems experienced by the Volunteer Centre, Glasgow, over the YTS, he will be willing to meet representatives of the centre.
§ Mr. Allan StewartConsideration of the many detailed points put to the Manpower Services Commission by the Glasgow Volunteer Centre continues. I understand that a reply will be issued shortly which might lead to the centre reappraising its currently pessimistic view of the new YTS funding arrangements. As this clarification by officials would appear to be the best course of action, I do not propose to meet representatives of the centre.
