asked the Secretary of State for Transport when he now expects the M25 to be completed.

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will give his latest estimate of when the Swanley-Sevenoaks section of the M25 will be completed.

Mr. Ridley

I hope the contractor, John Laing Construction Ltd, will have the Swanley-Sevenoaks section ready for me to open on 19 February, some five months early.

The final section, between Micklefield Green and South Mimms is due for completion in November this year.
