§ Mr. WaldegraveThe Development Commission keeps under review ways of improving its organisation, and that of its agency the Council for Small Industries in Rural Areas, so that it can respond more effectively to rural needs. In recognition of the important part the commission plays in rural areas the Government have increased the funds available to it next year by £2 million.
