§ Mr. Blairasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will now provide information, in the same form as the answer of 24 May 1985 in relation to British Telecom, about all fees and commissions so far paid, or to be paid, to primary underwriters, sub-underwriters, financial advisers, legal advisers, auditors and stockbrokers in connection with the flotation of British Gas; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe organisations directly involved in the British Gas sale were listed in the prospectus, a copy of which has been in the Library of the House since 21 November. I refer the hon. Member to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Lewisham, West (Mr. Maples) on 12 December for estimates of the costs of the sale.
