§ Mr. WaldenI refer the hon. Member to the reply that I gave to the hon. Member for Wrexham (Dr. Marek) on 7 July 1986, at column 53. For the reasons that I gave then, I am not in a position to provide information in the form requested. I understand, however, that in 1985 the College of Speech Therapists awarded a licence to practise to 286 graduates from approved courses of relevant study. Comparable information for 1979 is not available.
