asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, which European Community countries have not ratified the European Single Act.

Mrs. Chalker

The United Kingdom, Denmark and Belgium have already ratified the Single European Act. The other nine Community Countries expect to ratify by the end of the year.
