§ Mr. ButcherMy right hon. Friend has today authorised the Director General of Telecommunications, under sections 20 and 22 of the Telecommunications Act 1984, to approve telecommunication maintenance contractors; to approve apparatus for connection to telecommunication systems; and to designate telecommunication standards.
