§ 25. Mr. Sternasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with existing arrangements whereby a vacant hospital bed in one district is made known to other health authorities.
§ Mr. WhitneyYes. Health authorities are expected to make the most efficient and effective use of their beds. It would be for local agreement whether that should involve use by other health districts of vacant beds.
