§ Mr. Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when Her Majesty's Government will announce their response to the remaining recommendations made by the Committee on Scottish Affairs in its report on the Highlands and Islands Development Board.
§ Mr. RifkindI understand that the Select Committee will today be publishing the Government's response on the Committee's proposals for transfer of tourism responsibilities from the Highlands and Islands Development Board to the Scottish Tourist Board, the establishment of a rural development fund and the extension of the Highlands and Islands Development Board area I have arranged to have copies placed in the Library of the House.
