HC Deb 10 April 1986 vol 95 c156W
Mr. Corbett

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will detail the number of educational classes at Her Majesty's prison, Winson Green (a) due to be held and (b) cancelled, giving reasons for any such cancellations, in each week from September 1985 to February 1986 and stating the number of prisoners in each week due to undertake educational classes.

Mr. Mellor

The information is as follows:

could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. it is estimated that, in a normal week with a full schedule of classes, an average total of 60 prisoners would attend day classes and 150 prisoners would attend evening classes.
