memorandum of understanding providing for the purchase by Saudi Arabia of 48 Tornado IDS, 24 Tornado ADV, 30 Hawk and 30 PC-9 aircraft as part of the continued modernisation of the Royal Saudi air force.

The sale will provide much needed work for the British aerospace industry into the 1990s.
