§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the future of the apprentice training centre at Rosyth dockyard if his 359W proposals for commercial management go ahead; whether his Department or the contractor would run the centre; and what obligations will be laid down for its continued support.
§ Mr. Norman LamontArrangements will be made to ensure the continuation of apprentice training at Rosyth dockyard after commercial management is introduced. Plans are at present being drawn up within my Department and these will be made public in due course.
