§ Mr. Alan ClarkSeparate information on the number of deaf people on the community programme is not held. However, all projects employing and benefiting disabled people, including deaf people, are welcomed and encouraged. Because of the particular difficulties faced by disabled people in finding employment, the period of unemployment required to qualify for the community programme is reduced.
