HC Deb 19 November 1985 vol 87 c163W
Mr. Ron Davies

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what plans he has to issue advice to health authorities on the effects of acidification of waters on the aluminium content of potable supplies.

Mr. Whitney

[pursuant to his reply, 18 November 1985]: No advice is necessary because the concentrations of aluminium in potable water are not known to present a public health problem. It is understood that water undertakers monitor the aluminium content of water.
