§ Mrs. Clwydasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many United States service personnel, and how many dependants, are currently stationed at USAF Alconbury; and how many are expected to be stationed there in 1990.
§ Mr. StanleySome 3,200 United States service personnel are currently stationed at RAF Alconbury with some 4,800 dependants. It is not possible at this stage to give more than a broad estimate of numbers in 1990, but on present plans we expect about 4,000 United States service men to be stationed at RAF Alconbury in that year, with about 6,000 dependants.
