HL Deb 22 May 1985 vol 464 c394WA
Lord Molloy

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What consultations they have sought with the United States Government about the situation in Nicaragua.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Young)

We regularly discuss the situation in Central America with the United States Administration. My right honourable and learned friend discussed the subject with Mr. Shultz in Washington in February and with his colleagues at the Bonn Economic Summit earlier this month.
