§ Baroness TrumpingtonThere are four grades in the Social Services Inspectorate; namely, Chief Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector, Assistant Chief Inspector and Inspector. Thirty-nine full-time officers and one part-time officer are based outside Greater London, but some London based officers cover areas outside London.
