HC Deb 14 March 1985 vol 75 c222W
Mr. Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what arrangements are being made for immediate payment of the severe disablement allowance to those in Scotland suffering from blindness or partial blindness.

Mr. Newton

[pursuant to his reply, 11 March 1985, c. 46.]: I have been asked to reply.

I refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Fife, Central (Mr. Hamilton) on 12 March at columns 119–20. Payment of severe disablement allowance is made as soon as the adjudicating authorities have decided that the statutory conditions are satisfied.
