§ Mr. John MacKayIt is estimated that the increases in NHS charges to be introduced from 1 April 1985 will provide £6.9 million additional income for the NHS in Scotland in 1985–86. Total income from charges in the year is expected to amount to 2.0 per cent. of estimated total gross expenditure on the NHS.
