Three million copies were produced of a leaflet— "You and Your Rates" — copies of which are being issued with every valuation notice. The Scottish Ofice supplied assessors with copies of a further leaflet and a booklet to assist ratepayers who might wish to appeal against their valuations. Total printing costs were £27,000.
