§ Mr. BrookeThe present contribution formula for the advanced further education pool, which is based as to 69 per cent. on the numbers of school pupils in each authority's area, and as to 31 per cent. on non-domestic rateable value, requires the ILEA to pay about 9.8 per cent. of the pool. The ILEA is taking legal proceedings against my right hon. Friend in respect of his decision not to change the formula and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.
