§ Mr. Merchantasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what funds his Department has spent and intends to spend on International Youth Year; and to which organisations connected with International Youth Year his Department has given funds.
§ Mr. BrookeGrant-aid to the International Youth Year national co-ordinating committee for England, to the end of this financial year, is expected to amount to £134,850; that for 1985–86 has still to be announced. Grants have been approved for International Youth Year projects undertaken by:
- National Council for Voluntary Youth Sevices.
- British Youth Council.
- British Council of Churches.
- Operation Raleigh.
