§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Defence what were the separate costs of materials and manpower of Operation Yealstead, indicating the Votes to which the expenditure has been charged.
§ Mr. LeeIt is too soon to be able to give a detailed breakdown of material and manpower costs of the initial operation to clear and fence RAF Molesworth although the initial estimate is about £.6.5 million. There will in addition be a general cost arising from Ministry of Defence police exercises. Costs will thus fall on Votes 1, 2 and 4.
