§ Mr. McTaggart
asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the level of (a) immigration into Scotland and (b) emigration out of Scotland in each of the past six years for which figures are available.

§ Mr. John MacKay
Estimates, which are subject to sampling error, particularly in relation to migration with countries outside the United Kingdom, are given in the table. They are for the period 1 July to 30 June in each case.
