§ Mr. John MacKayGross expenditure on the health programme in Scotland represented 11 per cent. of total expenditure on health in the United Kingdom in 1983–84 and in 1984–85. The proportion for 1984–85 is derived from provisional figures for outturn expenditure in that year.
