§ Mr. Soleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether an offender sentenced to be detained for a determinate number of years by virtue of section 53(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, and detained in prison at the direction of the Secretary of State, is entitled to remission of any part of that sentence under the prison rules.
