§ Mr. Buchanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now publish the names of the persons and organisations invited to submit evidence to the Peacock committee on the financing of the British Broadcasting Corporation.
§ Mr. Giles ShawIt is for the committee itself to decide how to conduct its affairs, and whether to disclose the particular persons or organisations from whom it has invited evidence. The committee has made it known through the press that it will be pleased to receive, by 31 August, written evidence from any person or body on matters which are germane to its review.
