§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsInward investment projects in receipt of selective financial assistance since May 1979 amount in value to nearly £750 million. These projects promise about 15,000 new and 8,000 safeguarded jobs. Competition for inward investment is keener than ever but the success achieved over the past two years indicates that Wales has a great deal to offer international companies.
