§ Mr. Fallonasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he has yet received the report of the team which has been reviewing the management and organisation of the Export Credits Guarantee Department.
§ Mr. ChannonI have now received the review team's report. I have made arrangements for this to be published today and copies have been placed in the library of the House. The report is wide-ranging and makes a number of 455W recommendations on how the Department's operations could be made more businesslike and provide an improved service to exporters. I am now considering the report and will announce the Government's conclusions in due course.
