§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe following list gives products containing dieldrin notified to the Health and Safety Executive or the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food under the pesticides safety precautions scheme. The scheme is a formally negotiated agreement between industry and the Government under which pesticides are evaluated and cleared for safety. It also provides for notifications when cleared products are withdrawn, but the list may nevertheless include a few products which are now out of production. There are separate entries covering small product variations because individual clearances are required for each of these.
